Retirement Board Agendas and Minutes
The local retirement board at AZDPS, executes duties regarding memberships and benefits regarding retirement. This includes topics relating to:
- Eligibility for membership
- Amount, manner and time of payment of benefits
- Procedures for claimants in filing benefit applications
- Determine a claimant's right to benefits
- Schedule rehearings on the original determination
- Requesting and receiving information from employers and members on claims for eligibility for membership and benefits
- Appoint medical boards as provided in ARS 38-859
