Retirement Benefits
Benefits are administered by either the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System or the Arizona State Retirement System depending on your rank.
Time Off (Vacation & Sick Time)
Vacation time is accrued based on years of service with the state, as follows:

| 0-5 | 4.62 | 15+ |
| 6-10 | 5.54 | 18+ |
| 11-20 | 6.47 | 21+ |
| 21+ | 7.39 | 24+ |
Sick Leave is accrued at a flat rate for all employees:

There are ten (10) paid holidays that are recognized per year.
